hi guys: lately my OSX has been acting weird. Sometimes, when I right click on a folder or a file, the finder window automatically closes. I have Desktop Sweeper installed and also have customized icon. I thought initially it was because of desktop sweeper but after I tried to uninstall it, the same thing happended. When I reinstall Desktop Sweeper, same thing happens. What should I do? what is the cause for it.

/Library/Contextual Menu Items
~/Library/Contextual Menu Items

Likely culprit StuffIt context menu plug-in.

Remove the plug-ins in there and log out (one at a time if you want to). If that fixes the problem trash the one whose fault it was. If you can't live without its functionality search for an updated version.

Thanx alot TETENAL. Actually, I've tried to copy and paste the plugin onto the desktop, and the problem disappeared. And when I copy the plugin back into the folder, the problem didn't reappear. I'll see what happens next.

I don't think it has any effect at all when you create a copy of the plug-in on the Desktop. You have to actually remove it from the folders given above to disable it.
