How many Tiger DVDs?

I need to reinstall Tiger on a machine and found 1 DVD. I thought there was two but the DVD doesn't say "disk 1". How many are there suppose to be?

There are two DVDs. I think the second DVD has Developer Tools, X11, extra fonts, and other miscellaneous stuff.

There should only be one DVD for Mac OS X Tiger. The previous versions: Jaguar and Panther had two

Yup, two is the number and the number shall be two. Except you don't need the second disk to do a reinstall. So the real number is one.

Tiger shipped on one DVD, including the Dev. Tools and such. Only computers bundled with Tiger shipped on 2 DVD's, one for the OS and the other for the 3rd Party apps and such.

This was the retail version. I used the single DVD and it didn't ask me for any others.

My copy of panther had 3 + dev tools and they were all CDs not DVDs.

I've only got Tiger on 1 DVD.

That's because Tiger only comes on 1 DVD. Macs ship with multiple DVDs because they also have iLife, iWork Trial, 3rd party apps and Tiger.
