I've recently bought a second Powerbook 12" 1.5. only difference is the new one has tiger and the old has panther. i will be purchasing Leopard at the end of the month for both notebooks but need tiger on the old one for the time being.... Will I be able to use my powerbook restore disc to upgrade the panther unit for the next 2 weeks?

Why don't you just pop-in the Install DVD and see if it works?
