Hello people,

I have set up a Mac used by students with a locked Desktop folder to prevent them filling it up with files all over it. This has worked very well making them use the correct folders within the user folder for their work. However it has come to my attention that when you put a blank CD/DVD into the Mac nothing happens.

Doing a little investigating if you choose the option to have the CD/DVD to be opened in the Finder it will crash. Obviously due to the fact that it is trying to create a burn folder in the desktop folder.

Question- Is there a way around this? I really don't want to have to unlock the Desktop because within a week they will have filled it with junk again.

Thanks.
