Since everyone's so pumped up about Leopard, I figured it would be a swell time for a poll about your favorite version. Vote, then post why. Personally, my favorite version was 10.3 Panther. It performed very well and was less bloated than Tiger. I like the fact that it supports pretty much all G3 and newer Macs too.

The latest is the greatest for me. Leopard looks better, has a number of useful features, and isn't slow on my Mac (MBP C2D).

BTW, I've used them all, beginning with the public beta (a copy of which I still have in shrink-wrap).

I do always like the latest and greatest, but I think overall Panther was my favorite. I think I'll have to spend more time with Leopard though to be able to make a clear judgement, Leopard is a bit of a bummer for me though since it doesn't run very smoothly on my PowerBook.

Definitely Panther. Tiger was slower, larger, and had no new features that did me any good. Looks like Leopard is going to be Tiger redux in that respect.
If they'd ported Panther to the MacIntels, I'd still be using it...

While I have a special place in my heart for 10.3 since it brought Expose (my favorite OS X feature), I like 10.5 the best because it has everything 10.3 has and more.
