I am hosting user accounts on Tiger Server. If the clients upgrade to Leopard, can they see their accounts on the Tiger Server?

Yes.

Obviously, though, you'd want to test Leopard client before you go deploying it to your end users.

If the accounts are served over AFP, as long as there were no protocol changes you will be fine.

Thanks for that lightning-fast reply!

Unfortunately, I'm having trouble logging into an account on the Tiger Server after upgrading the user machine to Leopard client. (I mean client with a small-c, of course, it's me). I'll keep checking the settings on the server, but if you have suggestions, feel free to post them.

Also, cannot mount the shared drive. Message in Finder says:
"Connection Failed. The server may not exist or it is not operational at this time. Check the server name or IP address and your network connection and try again."

Of course, there's nothing wrong with the IP address. I can log into the Server Admin tools just fine.

OK, got it!

Thanks to both of your replies that say it can be done, troubleshooting was easy. AFP had turned itself off...how, I've no idea. I swear I checked it before ;-) (At least half a dozen times).

And you're right, it DOES work!
Thanks again.
