builit-in camera not working in Photo booth after installing Leopard

Installed Leopard on my wife's g5 iMac. did the OS upgrade and when I opened up photo booth the camera icon is crossed out and the camera light isn't coming on? any ideas what to check or what might have caused it. also doesn't appear to be working in yahoo chat either.

you could try reinstalling with the archive-install option.

It took me 3 hours to upgrade before from tiger to leopard I assume the archive and install would take less time? anyone have similar problem with the camera? any way to test it the camera some other program? if it's just contained to photobooth or ichat. might be software...if it fails in everything it might be hardware.
