Hey, guys... I did a clean install of Leopard and downloaded Flip4Mac. Now, in system prefs, it's listed as "Flip4Mac WMV Beta." I don't recall the last version I used being beta. Anyhow... It's version 2.2.0.39. Whenever I use finder to locate video files, Flip4Mac bogs down the system, and I get a popup status bar for every WMV file in the folder. It only loads one at a time, so I get bar after bar after bar. Are you guys experiencing this? What version are you using? Thanks.

I don't have this problem even on an older 1.5GHz G4 Powebook. I am using the latest non-beta version here:

Flip4Mac WMV Products

I think 2.3.1 or so. Maybe something is buggy in the beta version?

Hmmm...It still takes forever for the preview icons to load, but at least I'm not getting the status bars. Thanks!

DId you do anything different to get the status bars to stop showing?

Try a simple test and see if anything changes. Create a new, admin enabled, user account, install the beta Flip4Mac from here: http://www.flip4mac.com/wmv_beta.htm Then see if you get the same problem. That will rule out any other conflicts. If it still happens, send an email to support@flip4mac.com, and let them know. Keep us posted, too. ....ciao
