My 10.5 install failed and I have this folder in /:

BaseSystem.pkg.146N0uYBM

It has a bunch of .plan files inside. Is it needed, or can I delete? Anyone else have these that are using 10.5?

Thanks

It's one of the packages that Leopard extracts its files from. You can safely delete it and restart the install. They're normally deleted after installation is done, but your install probably failed partway through extracting/installing the package.
