Leopard Dashboard delays?

Is anyone else experiencing delays/lockups from Dashboard? I'll hit the Dashboard key, and the widgets will come up, but everything is unresponsive for several minutes. For instance, I can click several numbers on the calculator, nothing happens, I close Dashboard, and a couple of minutes later, I'll reopen Dashboard, and the numbers have appeared on the calculator. Thanks for any help.

This happened in Tiger for me too. It seems that the widgets have to load for a few seconds if you haven't used them in awhile.
Signature depreciated.

With Leopard they seem to have to load a lot more often then with Tiger for me. In Tiger, they would only pause significantly to load the very first time after a login but with Leopard it will pause significantly after I've left it alone for just a couple of hours.
