Under Tiger, I could place the ip \\10.0.0.2 (the address of my Tiger enabled G5)
in the run command of my Windows XP laptop.

It would prompt me for my id and password and I could remote into my drive from
the PC and do file transfers live and unencumbered.

Under Leopard, however, this has a slightly different configuration dialog under
the system preferences panel. You can enable it via account and also via directory.

Unfortunately, when I remote into the G5 I don't get prompted for an id or
password, it brings up a window that shows no directories at all.

Just an empty pane.

The options in the preferences pane allow for afp, samba and one other
option if I recall correctly.

Has anyone got this working properly under OS X Leopard?
