WTF, Apple?
I used this regularly to send SMS. It's so much nicer to being able to type them on a real keyboard. Why was this feature removed?

Well I too am not a happy camper.
Why on earth would Apple decide to COMPLETELY REMOVE the telephony functionality from Address Book? This was a very valuable feature for bluetooth-enabled cell phone owners. I primarily used it for sending and receiving SMS messages, but at times I initiated a call or directed an incoming call to voicemail with it. I was disappointed beyond measure that the iPhone ... an Apple developed product ... had such weak bluetooth support and couldn't even be used with Apple's own software like any run-of-the-mill Sony Ericsson phone could. Now I've upgraded to Leopard only to find that the functionality is totally gone! Why get rid of something that was working fine? So as it stands now Address Book in Leopard received absolutely no new functionality (and the Google Maps thing doesn't really count b/c anyone who really wanted to do that instead of MapQuest had installed a plug-in long ago) .... and has actually lost a valuable feature. It's supposed to be an UPGRADE not a DOWNGRADE.

That's fine, but can I have a replacement first, please?

Those bastards. That was a useful feature. It was so useful I needed more and ended up getting BluePhoneElite to handle all my SMSs.
Good app, certainly more powerful than Address-book ever was, but it isn't free. Replaces the Bluetooth function in Address-book and then some.
Off topic: why does Bluetooth have to die? It is very useful as a wirerless USB-thingy. That's basically what it is. I use it for wireless keyboard and love it!

I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.
