I have a macbook 2ghz, not the most recent one.
When I put in the leopard cd, the drive sounds like its running and starts making the usual noise, but then it just quits spinning and after a few tries doing that, it just quits and ejects the cd! This is pissing me off and I have been on hold for an hour with applecare which I payed 300 wtf! I've tried booting from the cd and it makes the same noise and just ejects. Please Help!!! I tried putting in regular cd's and they work fine. Just the leopard disc.

You may have gotten a bad DVD. Or your drive is messed up. Applecare will help resolve it.

Have you tried loading the DVD on another Mac? That's a very easy way to find out if its your machine or if its the DVD.

Also, I would cut Applecare a little slack here. They are most likely dealing with a ton of calls for Leopard at the moment. (not making excuses for them, just sayin)
