I am trying the trial of .mac, back to my mac works fine on my network but not from another network to my home network.

Is anyone doing back to my mac, between networks, or remote and home, with just the trial? Or do I need to buy .mac before this works?

Thanks
Frank

Back to my Mac is .Mac only, but you don't need to be a .Mac subscriber to do what you want, there are plenty of free dynamic DNS services available. If you were to search this forum you'd likely find plenty of information about this.

I was wondering if the feature worked with the .mac trial.

I assume it would.

A, in my opinion, much better online backup service is Mozy Online Backup: Simple, Automatic, Secure.

Mastrap:

Back to my Mac is not a backup service, but rather, a dynamic IP service which directly shows your home machine(s) in the "Shared" area of the Finder window sidebar.

FolderShare in on-demand sync mode achieves mostly the same thing.
