hi, i'm looking for help in trying to reformat my seagate FreeAgent 500gb drive to my mac which is running OSx, i know i have to use disk utilities but i'm having trouble in knowing exactly what to do?

connect your drive, open disk utility, select your drive from the left-hand pane, click the Erase tab, and now choose your format and partition options.
