I have a MacPro and MacBook Pro running fairly well with 10.5, but my girlfriend's iMac G5 2.0 ghz w/ 2 GB of ram in just not working in terms of Safari. The machine has been perfect in this regard up until this update. Now it either does not stay on my airport or when it is on it, or Safari fails to build a page.

This has been a *very* buggy update in a lot of ways. Repairing permissions now takes 10-20 times longer on any of our machines than it ever used to. What's up with that?

But the Safari thing on my lady's iMac, well unless someone can tell me how to fix that, I am going to have to get it back to the former OS. I need to be able to do that w/out doing a clean install, we simply don't have time for that right now.

Any ideas?

These problems are documented. Go to the Apple Forums and ask there. Also, the first update to 10.5
has been released to the developers this wed so it should not be too long until it comes out now.
Going back to 10.4 is an option of course...what ever makes you happy!
