We all know that the new Front Row has a plug in architecture and is practically identical to the ITV's Front Row, so where the hell are the plug ins?
I would love to have AppleTV's YouTube plug in, anyone tried to get it to work?

I just copied YT.frappliance off my AppleTV and copied it into Front Row's Plugin folder (/System/Library/CoreServices/Front Row/Contents/Plugins) but it didn't show up when I opened Front Row.

I have no idea what else to try.

Its strange, none of the plug ins from AwkwardTV Plugin Directory seem to work either, there must be a way to enable them.

I would love YouTube and the torrent plug ins, I would never have to quit Front Row on my TV!

Perhaps we could compare the two apps to look for any difference.

I have a feeling Apple has made some fundamental changes to the plugin architecture since AppleTV came out to render them unusable on Leopard's Front Row 2.0.

Try logging out and back in again.

Ugh, I didn't think about logging off or restating. I'll give it another try shortly and post my results.

Did it work?

Would be neat to see that as an option.

I copied the plugin over again and restarted my Mac, but it still didn't work.
