Hi
We seem to have lost the ability to use Apple + C to copy anything on screen since upgrading to Leopard. Apple + V works fine but not the Copy function.
Where to look to fix it?

One more bit to the above
This occurs on both an iMac (dual core) and a MacBook Pro (dual core) btw

The copy function seems not to work on just about anything anywhere and are relying on the right mouse button to do it all for the moment. Keystroke mode is much preferred

Tetenal - thanks for this. I really wanted it to be THE fix. Unfortunately - no joy!
It seems really odd to have it happen on two machines at the same time each had Leopard installed.
Any other suggestions would be most appreciated

Did you install as an upgrade, archive & install, or clean install? Just wondering if you have something incompatible left over during an upgrade.

Just to check: Does the shortcut show up in the Edit menu beside the Copy command?

Zro - regarding your thoughts
"Does the shortcut show up in the Edit menu beside the Copy command?"
It appears to show up in pretty much all apps I have looked at so far
Chuckit - the upgrades on both machines were as upgrades from disc. No other prep done. About the only other thing I can think of is installing the Logitech Mouse s/w on both machines. There does not seem to be a place in that utility to invoke the Apple + C string as a mouse control. Other than that nothing untoward or unusual.
Will try removing the Logitech item and see if that makes a difference
Thanks to you both for the ideas, Much appreciated
Geoff

Are you using CTRL-C or Apple (aka command)-C for copying? Your first post said Apple-C, but the thread title has CTL-C.
Fixed title. Glenn

Should read Apple + C in all cases. CTL was an error

What does 'upgrades from disc' mean? Was it a plain upgrade, an Archive and Install upgrade, or a clean install upgrade?

The Logitech software installs APE, which is often the cause of many weird problems. Try removing Application Enhancer.framework from your /Library/Frameworks folder and see if that makes a difference.

Thank you all.
It was an install where I threw the Leopard disc into my machines and did what I was told
As to the Library/Frameworks Folder - there is not on in my list!
As an aside how does one remove the Logitech Control Panel once it is up on System Preferences?
Finally - the problem seems to have corrected itself on one machine when I reinstalled Boot Camp. I have no logical idea why that would be. Now I have to figure out how to correct the MacBook Pro!
