I've recently installed Safari 3.0 on my Tiger version 10.4.10 it kept crashing but I no longer had my Safari 2.0 so I had uninstall 3.0 and install using my disc. That put Safari 2.0.3, I've always thought that there was a 2.0.4 or even later but when I do a software update search it says that it's all up to date and I've tried to search Apple Support but I cannot find anything later than 2.0.3 nor anywhere to download the latest Safari, so my question is what's the latest Tiger 2.0 version of Safari :???: also I've seen threads about 2.0.4 but I can't find WHERE to download it from

i wouldn't want to go back to 2. Maybe you should figure out why 3 is crashing.

If you would have used the Safari 3 uninstaller it would have restored your previous Safari version. No need to use the Tiger discs.

Go download the 10.4.10 combo updater and run that. That should give you the latest Safari and Webkit versions.
