macworld and macaddict used to come with discs of stuff -- shareware, freeware, demos, OS updates sometimes.

I don't subscribe to any
I'd visit their web pages or pick one up on the newsstand to confirm they come with a CD. I haven't looked at them in so long, I can't be sure.

Cold Warriors first post has all the info you need. * He's saying you would need to check yourself to see if they still come with discs or not because last he knew they did.

Makes little sense in this day and age to subscribe to a magazine. You get more up to date information on the net. By the time the magazine ends up in your hands its already old news.

Depends, sometimes magazines have nice how-tos and other things you maybe aren't able to get on the net. Not only that, I sometimes like to buy a magazine to read on long trips. I don't own a laptop, and probably wont anytime soon.

Magazines are also good for when you have to take a dump and don't have a laptop.

If he is asking about monthly CDs and magazines for taking a dump with, I'd imagine he doesn't have a laptop or else he wouldn't need magazines.

LOL, I just ran into this tonight because the wife had the laptop, so off I went with my new issue of RacerX.

I like to read inspirational quotes about letting go and about zen-like detachment of things when I poop. It makes me feel better.
