I kind of want to clean the iPhoto Library folder up but don't want to risk losing files/resources that I need.

Thanks in advance,

Chase

I suggest you pick either the Finder or iPhoto to manage your photos. Trying to use both is counter productive.

Don't touch anything there. If you want to delete some of your photos do so from within iPhoto.

I suggest you update to iPhoto 08. It closes the iPhoto Library into a neat package.

Forget the library in finder exists. Do not "clean it up" -- you WILL corrupt and/or lose photos. Do anything and everything to/with your photos from within the iPhoto app. Or, do NOTHING within the app and do everything in the library (and use some other viewing, organizing, editing software -- just not iPhoto if you mess with the library in finder). The app and the finder do their things on their own, and do not like to be messed with.
