so I've installed leopard and used the "archive and install" option, which moved my entire old system into it's own folder. I'd like to move my old apps back to the Applications folder but I do not want to lose all my preferences and licenses.

how can I go about doing this?

Your video card probably doesn't support menu bar transparency.
