From my extremely limited knowledge of applescript, I'm under the impression that when you implement it unto a program using Automator, it tells the program that whenever a certain action is performed, applescript automatically performs another or a few more actions. Right? If not, this topic is kind of null.

Anywho, this is where my question starts to get silly. Those of you that are familiar with facebook know what poking is. To those who don't... it's basically that when you "poke" someone who is a friend of yours on facebook, a message comes to their page telling them that you poked them. They have the option to poke back, or to delete the poke. If they poke you back, you can't just ignore it! It becomes a poke war of constantly clicking that "Poke Joel" button whenever you check your facebook.

Yes, silly, I know. What I'm wondering is is there a way that I can make some sort of apple script that will automatically send all pokes back to whoever sent them to me whenever I access my facebook page? I can't lose!

Edit: I thought I might be more specific, so maybe people who aren't familiar to the facebook layout might be able to help me out with my extremely important task. What I'm actually asking is, is there a way to make applescript open a link contained on a page when the link has a certain combination of letters? Thanks!

I'm a dork.
