OS 10.5.1 When I open a pass word protected disk image it opens as an external drive at root level (Volumes) but does not place an image on the desktop as it did in Tiger. I must open the image (folder) from the sidebar. This is inconvenient because I have to navigate to the sidebar each time I want to open the folder and I am not aware if the file has been opened because the image is not on the desktop. I have compared get info settings on both OS's and can find no difference. I have not been able to find any preferences designating where the open image appears. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to have the open image appear on the desktop in Leopard?

George
