I was doing some troubleshooting on my MBP, and in console I found that nibindd keeps crashing and a new crashlog is being generated every 10 seconds. They all say the same thing:

Process: nibindd [279]
Path: /usr/sbin/nibindd
Identifier: nibindd
Version: ??? (???)
Code Type: X86 (Native)
Parent Process: launchd [1]

Date/Time: 2007-12-09 18:12:57.787 -0800
OS Version: Mac OS X 10.5.1 (9B18)
Report Version: 6

Exception Type: EXC_BREAKPOINT (SIGTRAP)
Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000000
Crashed Thread: 0

Dyld Error Message:
Symbol not found: _xdr_nibind_clone_args
Referenced from: /usr/sbin/nibindd
Expected in: /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib

Looking back through, this has been happening ever since I installed Leopard. Is anyone else having the same problem, or does anyone have any ideas how to fix it?
When birds fly in the right formation, they need only exert half the effort. Even in nature, teamwork results in collective laziness.

That's for NetInfo which no longer exists in Leopard. You shouldn't have that file anymore. It should be safe for you to remove it.

What's interesting is that it's still there. Did you do an upgrade install?
