so here is what is going on: i used time machine to look through some old finder windows and when i was done and it went back to the desktop i had no sound. i tried restarting the programs that were using sound, but that didnt do anything. the only folder that i looked through on time machine was the desktop through the finder. i am using usb speakers, but i know that cant be the problem. in the end i inevitably have to restart the computer, but the sound begins to work. anyone know what is going on?
