I just noticed that all of my windows in leopard have a small, dark gray 1px line all the way around them...

It's occurring in all of my apps, both Apple and Third party, and I just noticed because I switched to a light-colored desktop and it stood out a lot.

I first noticed it in Adium where the "Group Bubbles" contact list style was in use, and then I looked at other apps, it was fairly noticeable in Mail as well.

Has anyone else seen this issue?

Yeah, it's the Leopard "unified" window appearance. You thought it was a bug?

Wasn't sure what the point of a 1 px line all the way around the window was, kind of looked ugly to me...

If it only appears when the window is foreground (the active front most window) that's a feature. It's supposed to a drop shadow. Previous versions of the OS had it to a lesser degree.

Well, yeah, the window at the foreground has a drop shadow, I've seen that since OS X was introduced. The 1px line appears as if it's inside the window, and looks like all my windows were assigned a 1px grey border (much like a CSS element with a border looks). Is that the intended feature?

If not, I'll take some screenshots and upload them when I get home from work...

Do they follow the mouse cursor to buttons? Could be voice over. Check the accessibility system preferences.

Okay, here's a screenshot, I highlighted a bit of the border with Red so it's easier to pick out

Yep, that's normal in 10.5.
