Wondering if there is a way to directly convert a managed mobile account into a local one. Here's the setup:

1. MacBook was given a network/directory account on an OS X 10.4 Server, and had "mobile account" enabled so it synced all its files with the server when connected.
2. Now the OS X Server is gone.
3. The account on the MacBook still works i.e. you can login, but it's obviously spending time trying to login to the non-existent server and I want to convert it to a normal local non-managed account on the MacBook.

Is there a way to directly convert this account into a local account on the MacBook?
If not, what is the best way to create a new local account and import all the old documents, application prefs, etc

Thanks,

Ben
