I'm changing the IP of one of our printers and I need to update all 30 iMacs in the lab. I wanted to set up one iMac how it should be for the printer, then copy that preference (wherever it's stored) to the other iMacs. They're running Panther.

Incidentally, is it different for Tiger and Leopard? Anyone know where it's store in those respective OSes?

Just so everyone knows, it's changed in Leopard. The preference is now stored in the ByHost folder. Using lpadmin -d fails in Leopard if the printer is set to "Last used printer."

*sigh*
