Hi,

I've got a problem on leopard 10.5.1 that causes very long boot time
I'm using a network hard drive with NFS on my mac

I've copied files from it on my hard drive and each time i start my mac, he tries to contact this server and it takes a lot of time

In the logs, i can see several times lines such as this one :

Failed to contact host 192.168.0.8: RPC: Port mapper failure - RPC: Timed out

What can i do to prevent my mac from trying to connect to my hard drive and so that i can boot faster

Thanks for your help

arnaud
