I've had a friend ask me many times before on how to clear the console messages in the Console.app, but I still have no idea. The messages are the ones that appear right after opening Console.app and they're under the "Log Database Queries" section (look below at screenshot). Is there a way to do remove these messages? If so, how?
Thanks,
Mason

Console messages are written to system.log. So select system.log in the LOG FILES section and then select the command File->Move to trash. I see reason why anyone would want to do this though.
The "why do you want to do this?" question is really valid. And depending on the reasons there could be different recommendations. Hiding things from people you are asking for advice is rarely a good idea.
