Here's the deal... I convinced my mother to switch to Macs a while back, and while she knows how to do some things, she still needs help with others. I saw that there is a 10.5 for Dummies book, but I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it, or can suggest any other books for 10.5.

I'll second that on David Pogue's "The Missing Manual" for Leopard. I'm reading it right now, actually. I've been away from Macs since Jaguar, and there have been MANY changes since then. This particular book has been getting me up to speed very quickly.

I find David's books informative, easy to read and comical in a geeky way. They're hella thick, so dig in if you plan on committing time to it.

Ditto the suggestin. I just picked the book up from the library an hour ago, in fact. But his books are always excellent.
