How can I remove the drop shadow that Leopard puts on all Finder windows? I find it very distracting, and honestly it doesn't add anything to the UI in my opinion. You can see what I'm talking about in the image below, just look to the left and below the "System Profile" window.

There are no Finder windows in that screenshot you posted.

You can not remove the drop shadow. It separates windows from each other (and the background) and it signifies the active window.

hmm, well that's unfortunate. I know the intention is to differentiate windows, but to me, I find it to be an annoyance. Hopefully someone writes a script or small app to remove these in the future.

When/if WindowShade X receives a 10.5 update, you can probably use it to trim the shadow, it has done it for previous OS versions.
