I accidentally deleted my utilities folder and now I can't install anything! I guess that's a no brainer but I don't know what to do from here. I don't have a back up cd for my MAC. It's a G5 about a year old running MAC OS.

Also for some reason I have two application folders one in my finder and one in my macintosh HD. They both have different programs in them for some reason. So I tried to consolidate them and put them in one folder, thats how i accidentally deleted everything in my utility folder.


Help if you can!!

You mentioned you don't have a backup, but do you have the OS X install/restore DVD?

Nope, I have nothing. I moved way too many times. I am in the military so something like a cd rom...is easily misplaced during my moves.

Is there anything I can download?

Unfortunately there's not. Nothing legal anyway.

Buy a copy of Leopard - it's worth it now (USB wake from sleep bug I first experienced today notwithstanding)
