In reference to this thread: http://forums.macnn.com/90/mac-os-x/...ets-roll-over/
I hate to bump this up, but this problem has started cropping up for me for the first time in Leopard. Is anyone else experiencing rollover problems? At some point, my menus don't highlight like they should, the stoplight buttons don't get rollover "x - +" when I mouseover them, the Dock doesn't show names... the whole system behaves badly. I restart when this happens...

OK, so the Leopard Graphics Update did not remove this.

Bump: Neither the Leopard Graphics Update nor getting a new MacBook even fix this completely.
I think I noticed when it actually stopped the rollovers, though - I was working in Microsoft Word 2004, and I think I heard a beep, and then all of a sudden noticed that the rollovers had gone away.
Is there any known issues with Word and this? I have lots of large images in the Word document I'm using...
I used the Migration Assistant that's part of Mac OS X to bring all my apps over, so that's probably why this just cropped up for me (first time it has cropped up in having the Mac for about a week and a half).

Possibly create a new user and see if the issue is still there. If not, it's definitely something with your user account. If it is still an issue, you may have to do either an archive and install or a possible erase and install.

I am still experiencing this as well, and I think it's the bug mentioned in the previous thread showing up again. I am using a Logitech LX7 with the Logitech drivers - according to the previous thread, this would be the bug culprit - as external mouse devices seem to trigger it.
I saw this problem before and after my fresh wipe and leopard install - so I wouldn't suggest a wipe. Sadly, the only fix that works for me is a restart.

What about removing your Logitech drivers and using OS X's built-in ability to use a mouse? You might lose some configurable buttons, but it beats a jacked up system.

How can we tell if Logitech drivers are installed? A Spotlight search (wow it goes fast on this new Mac!) turned up nothing, and I see nothing in System Preferences...
I have only experienced it once with my new MacBook... knock on wood.
Actually, screen shots seem to be broke for me. I did command-shift-4, copied a part of a web page, and this happened:

Is THIS related to the problem? I am not experiencing the rollover problem currently...
Oddly enough, if I command-shift-4, press space bar, and then copy an entire window, the screenshot works just fine!
