I have an office full of Macs that are always connected to a Mac mini file server. As I understood it, Leopard was supposed to be able to use Spotlight to search network drives.

This is possible thru finder using the shortcut Command+Option+Spacebar and then choosing "Shared" at the top.

However, does anyone know a way to have the more convenient Command+Space search the internal drive and any network drives thru the menu bar? Perhaps a plugin or hack would even be good.
Macminicolo.net - Your mini. Our data center. The perfect low-cost server.
