Hi lombardotony, I see your using CS! Is this CS-3 or just CS? Since this can cause problems,
anyway when installing fonts did you validate them? This can "should be" automatic... click Font Book>Preferences you should see a new window called Font Book Preferences: & if Validating fonts before installing is not checked, click-it. Also here you can select where fonts are installed by default.
Even after installing fonts, if the default location is User, then in Font Book you'll see them in User, All Fonts & depending what main language you use English etc.
All this fonts will show in User>Library>Fonts Your Collection of Fonts will be located in User>Library>FontCollection you can also do this via selecting a font then choose file>Reveal in Finder.
Choosing "Computer" will give Fonts to all user's of that computer! Make sure that Font activation is also checked... I suggest that you create a New Collection for these fonts & name them whatever you want to name them.
