Help! Last night I installed Leopard on my
G4 powerbook and now I can't get past a
blue screen on boot up. I've tried accessing
disk utilities from the startup disk, but it
can't seem to repair permissions.

ANY clues/ideas gratefully received!

Did you upgrade or do a clean install? What are the specs of your machine? Any external devices connected to the computer? These would be helpful

Thanks Big Mac.

64 Stang - it was an upgrade. No external devices.
Specs- 8o gig HD, 512meg Ram.

I'm off out to buy an firewire cable and see how
things work. I'll keep you posted.

Many thanks to both of you for your interest.

The link was a good one and I got my powerbook sorted.
Many thanks Big Mac! I'll have a glass of bubbly with my
quarter pounder tonight.
