Hello Forum,
I have a macbook and just upgraded my hard drive, OS (to leopard), and also am upgrading to iLife 08 and Iwork (gonna try to make a break from office!). Anyway, i put my old hard drive in an external USB2 case and did a fresh install of leopard on the new drive and have also put on ilife. I am ready to bring over old stuff. I fired up migration assistant....i want to have maximal performance/clean code with the new OS. What I would like to know is:
1. Should I migrate user folder as is or Use new user folder and drag over individual items?
2. Should I migrate programs or reinstall from disk/images...examples are office 2004, parallels, missing sync
3. Should I migrate libraries?
any other tips/pitfalls are appreciated
thanks in advance
jon
