Boom! all of a sudden I have various 'Dashboardclient' items open Ive noticed in my Actitivy monitor

Dont know how they got there.

one is 'World Clock Dashboardclient' its useing 35% CPU.

I do have an app called World Clock open but it never was a dashboard client I recall

Id love to get rid of them, but force quit seems unimpresseid

cheers and thanks

If you're on Tiger, then you will have a DashboardClient process for each widget open. If you're on Leopard, you should only have one. Kill the Dock to reset Dashboard if you have more clients than you should.

And if one client in particular is using up a lot of CPU, uninstall it from Dashboard.

many thanks and so quisk! Im on 10.4 + as 10.5 in on another HD ans Unison wants a Verizon PW I can't remember! how about that! so much for Killer Synch

I opened the dashboard app and did a Q

the CPU usage is gone but there are still in the activity monitor

needless to say (NTS ?) I did a key combo by mistake a while ago and activated

sdashboard and there it is.

as long as it doesnt' take up CPU Im less concerned.

thanks

I would like it to go away, but well
