Okay, yes it's April 1st but, I got this in my AppleScript Forums mail:
Apple announced today that the next version of the Mac OS will be called Lion, Mac OS X 10.6. It will run only on Macintosh computers that are powered by Lithium Ion (LiOn) batteries, which is the impetus for the name. People with Macintosh computers that do not use LiOn batteries will have to wait until Mac OS 11, which will be called Lynx. Mac OS 11 will be based on the Lynx operating system instead of BSD, hence the name and the renumbering of the OS.
I don't know what this will mean for Applescript, though.
