Hi,
I've just received a MBP 17" and I find out that the fonts are a bit small, especially with finder or the menus.
Is it a way to increase their size, without changing the resolution ? for example if the font size is 10 now, I would like to have it in 12 or 13.
I do know about the zoom, the contrast effect, and how to increase the font size on Safari but I want something permanent for the system

In Finder you can change the size used for the filenames in the menu View->View Options.

You can not change the size of the menu font. A fully scalable user interface is planned for after 2008 so hopefully it will be done by 10.6. Since 10.4 developers can turn this on to test their applications in preparation for it, but it does not yet work properly.
