Hey,

my Pleiades S-Combo with a 500 G Samsung is running nice (until now

i got to hfs journal partitions with 200 g each and now want to use the rest of the disk

Is there a possiblity to format this part without touching /destroying any data on the other partitions ? ( All my Backups, Docs, music is on there, so its really got to be safe)

If i just click format in disk utility, im warned that the 2 other partitions will be destroyed !

thx

p.s. this concerns a 10.4 Tiger

Click on the partition you want to format. It should appear as a drive/disk on the left hand side of Disk Utility. Select it, then choose the Erase tab.
