I have a lisenced version of 10.5 Server as an Image, not a disk. I have made a bootable partition on an external firewire that boots on an Intel Mac. The Powerbook G4 however does not see the partition as bootable.

How do I run the 10.5 Server installer on the PowerBook G4? I cannot creat a dual layer cd and can only work with a partition.

Will a SuperDuper Or Carbon Copy Cloner "copy" make this partition bootable.

Thanks in advance for the help

The drive most likely has a GUID partition scheme. PPC Macs can't boot from that. It has to be APM.
