Hello,
I've been setting up my new Mac Pro, with corded aluminum keyboard. In the Exposé pref window I've set F1 as Show Desktop and F2 as Application Windows. Keyboard Shortcuts in the Keyboard & Mouse pref confirms these settings, but F1 and F2 don't seem to work. I've tried using F5 and F6 and those work fine, but since F3 has the Exposé All Windows icon on the key, using F1 and F2 makes sense.
Thanks for any help,
Steve

Since F1 and F2 are the brightness keys, if you set them in Exposé, you'll have to press Fn and F1 or F2 for that to work.

The OP is talking about a Mac Pro, not a portable, so there is no fn key (or brightness control).
Something else must be assigned to F1 and F2 preventing the assignment.

If it's an aluminum keyboard, F1 and F2 ARE brightness and there IS a Fn key.

fn key is above the delete key on the Al keyboards.
