I'm having an issue with my iDisk. My upload speeds seem to be capped at about 50-75k. I checked on the Apple support forums and there seems to be a lot of people having this same issue. It doesn't look like there is a solution right now. Downloading directly from my idisk i was only able to get about 100k. However, when I opened my iDisk in Safari, I was able to get a download of about 600k, but my upload was still capped. I'm on FiOS 15/15 package and would like to take advantage of it.

Anyone else experiencing these problems?

I've always found the iDisk integration in Finder to be crap. I use Transmit instead to work with my iDisk. Seems to be much snappier.

I just tried Transmit. It gave me pretty much the same speeds as loading iDisk in Safari.

Transmit all the way.

CyberDuck now supports WebDAV and iDisk, but yeah, iDisk is/has always been really slow.

The only documented iDisk support in Cyberduck that I could find is the syncing of bookmarks.

Well I wrote the .Mac support team an email and the answer they gave me was of no help at all. I know that iDisk was never the fastest thing, but I am definitely experiencing a major slow down.

Using Transmit, I uploaded around 400 files to my iDisk yesterday. Upload speeds were pretty slow, around a quarter of what they could have been.

Fire up Cyberduck, in the QuickConnect field type in:
http://idisk.mac.com/(your member name)
authenticate with your user name and password.
This only works in the latest version of Cyberduck and you are absolutely right, their web site has next to no info on WebDAV or iDisk connections.
