hello,

so i am borrowing my friends leopard install disks that came with his new macbook. i want to install it on my first gen black macbook. 2 ghz intel core duo.

i am getting the "this software cant be installed on this computer" message.

i am running 10.4.11, and i cleared up enough disk space, and my firmware seems to be up to date. any suggestions?

Suggestion: Don't try and steal leopard.

To be more explicit: You're getting that message because those disks are only for installing Leopard on your friend's MacBook. It can tell that your computer is a different model.
