Hey everyone. I have a huge pic that I want to span across my iMac and 17" extra display. I was easily able to do this in XP (under bootcamp) but I haven't been able to find out how to do it in Leopard.

I've searched google to no avail. What am I missing?

I don't think OS X supports this. As a workaround, you could split the image in two.

Hmm, lame considering how much easier it was to align the two monitors and set their resolution in OSX than it was in XP.

I'd split the image....but of course now I am minus PS or any other photo-editing program.

Thanks for the quick reply, Chuckit.

GraphicConverter is free to try out and it can do this pretty easily. (Actually, Preview can split a photo, but it's harder to get things pixel-exact there.)

Yeah I just gave it a whirl in Preview and I got it to look pretty good, but it could be better

Good call on GC, I'll give it a shot.

You could also zoom in to a size you like in Preview and then take screen shots of it.
