Hi there
I recently noticed that my computer still has Tiger, Leopard and Vista
How can I safely remove Tiger OS X without corrupting anything else?
Thank you

I'm confused. Do you have 3 separate partitions with those? Typically when you do an install of an OS on top of the other, it should by default upgrade the system.

I have 3 Hard-drives -- 2x 250 and 1x 500
originally it came with Tiger on one of the HD's 250gb
and now after installing Leopard on the 3rd HD (500gb)
both still remain in place
Macintosh HD -- Tiger
Macintosh HD 2-- Leopard
Macintosh HD 2 -- Visa
and i can still boot any of them.

So just wipe the HD with Tiger and it will be gone.

Just delete what you want to delete. You also may want to look for invisible files and folders.

hello mkerr64,
when you are in either leopard or tiger, you should have access to the other hard drive that you currently have NOT booted into. so, its just a matter of dragging and dropping what you would like from your tiger drive into your leopard drive. after you've copied everything that you wanted onto the leopard partition, you can just use disk utility to completely wipe the hard drive with tiger stored on it. it wont affect the leopard system at all since it's not even on the same hard drive.
best,
