My inbox is getting too full; is there some other place I can store the emails so I can clear off the message board?

Create new folders.

Create new smart folders.

Delete items.

Forward items to a gmail account.

Delete more items.

Thanks for the quick reply Randman; however, I need further assistance: I know how to create new folders in Finder, but I don't know how to create folders for Mac Mail; can you elaborate further?

Go into mail, then go to Mailbox in the header. Select New mailbox and go from there. You can also use mail help.

Excellent! Thank you sir, I did it! I created a new mailbox and dragged and dropped all of my Inbox messages to the new mailbox that I appropriately named "Storage Room." Now I have a nice clean Inbox.
